Calgary is big Canadian
City with a small town feel. It is home to the greatest show on earth,
the STAMPEDE. Set close to the mountains, it is a playground for those
who enjoy the outdoors and its just beginning to be a salsa capital for
the west. Predominately, our dancers have favored the speed and showy
style that originated from Los Angeles. Cuban Style with its intricate
positioning and Rueda are close seconds. Calgarian Salseros have been
blessed to bring LA super stars such as Edie and Al Espanoza, to our fine
city to teach some of the hot moves from the Californian salsa scene.
