A great way to kick off the Fall Season...
As I was doing my usual nightly web surfing, I came across a new show coming to Toronto, which is actually the Grand Re-Opening of the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts (previously known as Hummingbird Centre and O'Keefe Centre -- now 50 years old!).
Check out the links below and next week I will hopefully be giving away a free pair of tickets to see this great new show!

If you don't do anything else, just look at this clip -- the visual effects mixed in with urban dance and cirque moves are visually breath-taking..
Also check out the event calendar for the season, there's some great dance shows coming to Sony Centre probably thanks to the growing popularity of Reality TV Dance Shows, such as "So You Think You Can Dance", "Dancing with the Stars" and "America's Best Dance Crew".
You'll find something that will appeal to every dancer who is looking for new inspiration for dance moves or shows, such as Chinese Ballet, Bollywood, Urban Hip Hop and more! It's up to us to keep supporting our own talents here and abroad. Stay tuned as I will probably have more free ticket giveaways...

An epiphany?
Well not quite, but it has been awhile... I took a hiatus from the scene to regroup, but salsa never disappears as part of your life, plus the friendships you make over the years... so stay tuned as I plan to start blogging again and there's been so much happening with dance thanks to Reality TV. I've started to check out some of the clubs in Toronto, and it's nice to see that the scene has been "steady" and dancers who were beginners a few years ago, slowly becoming potential stars in the making...
