Welcome to The Guide To Salsa -- created specifically to help beginner salsa dancers and was also inspired by the amount of letters we were getting from our Readers over the past year.

The "Guide to Learning Salsa" should answer the most commonly-asked questions students have about taking salsa lessons. What's great about our Guide is that it will be ever-evolving -- we hope that students will ask questions and instructors will give us feedback on what we may not have covered. You will notice that we have a "give feedback" beside each topic, which will send us an email with your comments and/or questions. The feedback will be incorporated into our "Dear TOsalsa for Beginner" section and then into our Guide in future updates. Please note that this guide is meant mostly for Beginners and later we may also formulate a Guide for Intermediate/Advanced Dancers focussing more on specific topics most commonly asked amongst more experienced dancers.

The "Guide to Learning Salsa" has been written by Ziv Kenet, and has been edited by Tricia Meikle and Rose Knows. Acknowledgements must also go out to our Toronto salsa instructors, Nicole da Silva (co-founder of Soles Dance Studio) and Teddy Olaso (co-founder of United Salseros) for their constructive feedback; and special thanks to Tricia for her awesome job as "Editor".

We hope you enjoy this "Guide to Salsa" as much as we enjoyed writing it. In future, you can look forward to future Guides to help you on your Journey through Salsa, such as "The Guide To Salsa Clubs".

We look forward to hearing from you!
