Why did I start this?

I know, you're thinking what a silly idea -- typical girl-talk... but this idea of mine has been brewing for over a year when I first found out that Ziv Kenet (www.tosalsa.com), Rene Delgado (United Salseros), Peter Djakovic (Dancing Thru Life), Edie the Salsa Freak (www.salsaweb.com), Andy Kamienski (www.totango.com) -- all have Taurus birthdays! Were all salsaholics Taureans? Are there others out there? What was even more coincidental was finding out that Rene and I have the same primary number (3)and we have very similar mindsets and interests which is probably why we started working together. And then to find out he's the baby of his family and I'm a first-born -- well it's no wonder we don't clash too much in our ideas! Then when you add Ziv to the equation (who has 3's in his no.), who's a middle child, then we all balance each other out!

What do Salsa Taureans have in common and I don't think they would disagree -- we work 24/7, get very little sleep and/or try to catch up on beauty sleep, love salsa, dance or teach salsa at least 3 days a week, are interested or have taken other forms of dance (including ballroom, swing and/or argentine tango), have all worked or are working in full-time day jobs and are also involved in designing and/or writing for websites. In April 2001, I had a call from Edie the Salsa Freak and she also mentioned to me that Johan Hofman, Salsaweb Correspondent for Belgium and Manny Siverio, ex-Salsaweb Correspondent for New York were also Taurus' and that if she had her way, all Taurus' would be webmasters!

So is there a trend and what signs are considered true salsaholics? Well, I've always wanted to find out, hence this survey. What's interesting so far that there are other horoscopes, i.e. Virgo and Scorpio, who are also salsaholics and it was interesting to note potential similarities under their sign.

How do you qualify for this survey?

So if you eat, work, dream and sleep salsa for at least a year and dance a minimum of 3-7 days a week along with other salsa-related activities, you will probably qualify to fit in...

How to calculate your numerological number?

How to calculate your numerological no., just add up all the digits of your birthday month, day and full year (19--), i.e. if your birthday is May 11, 1975, then you add up 0+5 (month), plus 1+1 (day), plus 1+9+7+5 (year), which adds up to 29, then add up the 2+9 to give your primary no. of 11.

What is amazing about the numerological sign is that many of my long-time friends are exactly the same no. as me. We rarely fight about anything and totally seem to understand each other perfectly without having to explain -- how often do you find friends such as this. I consider myself very lucky in this regard.

The book that explains it all is "The Life You Were Born to Live -- A Guide to Finding your Life Purpose" by Dan Millman (Spring, 1993). In a later article, I'll put up a synopsis for the primary nos.
