DERMOT
CLEMENGER AND DIANA KARLSSON
Representing
Sweden, Dermot Clemenger (from Ireland) and Diana Karlsson
have been dancing together since 1993.
During
this time they have won the Swedish Amateur Latin Title
a record of six times consecutively. They have been the
British Open Youth Champions and have been semi-finalists
in the World, European, and International Championships,
as well as being finalists in many world ranking events
around the globe; making them the most successful Latin
Dancesport couple ever to represent Sweden.
Since
joining Burn The Floor, Dermot and Diana have become Sweden's
Professional Latin Champions and reached the semi-finals
of The British Open Professional Rising Star Competition.
HUBERT
PIERZCHALO AND MAGDALENA POZARSKA
Representing
Poland, both Hubert and Magdalena began dancing at very
young ages. She travelled the world including Italy and
Iceland, where she became the National Champion. During
her dance career, Magdalena has competed in over 300 dance
events. Hubert has collected many titles during his competitive
career, including becoming the Swiss Champion three times,
Polish Open Champion, and a finalist in the Dutch Open.
Hubert has also been a semi-finalist at Blackpool and also
placed 7th at the European Championships. In 2000, he retired
from competition to focus on other forms of dance, including
the show dancing he now performs in Burn The Floor. The
couple continues to study dance in London.
