Salsation 2002 Sizzles...

Toronto's first-ever benefit salsa-a-thon sizzled February 15th at the
Courthouse! Over 450 dancers packed the Courthouse and had a fun-filled evening. Who knows whether it was the TV crews, the decorations, the free dance lesson, the roving Carmen Miranda, the prize draws or the great cause -- whatever it was, the Courthouse was on fire. CTV and Tele Latino (TLN) came out and covered the Event.

Prior to the 15th, Breakfast City TV, CHIN radio, Picante Express and TOsalsa.com shared the excitement of Salsation 2002 with thousands of people. All the dancing and organizing energy translated into raising almost $11,000 for low-income Canadians -- more than double the original fund-raising target.
