2001 Notes: This place is not a dance club. It is run by a couple of Venezuelans and it has a nice atmosphere and very good cuisine. It is the local hangout for a lot of the latin people, and is the best late hour club around (there is often a lineup to get in at 2:00 or even 3:00 am). It is open all week, but the best time to go is on Friday or Saturday. They play all kinds of music (and videos), with some salsa/merengue and the dance area is rather small, but if you have never been to South America, this is as close as you will come to that atmosphere here in Toronto. Be warned, though, that if you do not speak Spanish, you will be in the very small minority here, but don't let that stop you from coming: the people are very friendly and you will have a good time |
