We have
another little latin club that is about to open called THE ROOF next
week at 412 Preston St., the DJ is pretty good. He seems to know his
Salsa music.
La Isla Club have decided to have a 'fun' Salsa contest called the 'Jack
and Jill', every two weeks, where girls individually put their name
in the box and the guys will pick a name to be their partner for the
contest. It's actually pretty good as you don't know who your partner
is gonna be, so this way no choreography is involved. Winner is chosen
by the crowd applause.
Also on January 27th is our monthly Salsa party in a ballroom studio.
They play only Salsa and is catered only for Salsa people (no disco).
